A deep red color with a purple rim. The aroma is complex, exuberant, and sensual with tones of raspberries, black currant, leather, typical Provençal herbs, and a hint of licorice. Very tasteful and powerful. The prevalence of Mourvèdre makes for great aging potential. A wine that has matured for 16 months in wooden casks and thereby acquired a lovely refined taste. The finish is fruity and slightly spicy and has almost no end!
