Matured in oak barrels (30%–50% new) for up to 18 months, this rich, brooding wine throbs with flavors of baked plums and cassis preserves. The ripe, creamy Syrah is structured by flashes of redcurrant acidity and furry, mouthfilling tannins. While its fruit profile is perfumed and forward, the wine needs time to reveal itself fully.
