Another elegant wine from the estate, the 1996  is based on a 60/40 split of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It's medium ruby color followed by a complex bouquet of cedar spice, menthol, and saddle leather. It has sweet and mature fruit, dried berries and exotic fruit, that is nicely balanced on the palate with a resolved elegant texture.
